When you sign up for updates, send the contact form, or leave your email with the chat or voice guide, we keep what you entered (name, email, phone, message) so we can reply. If you leave your email in the chat, we keep that conversation with it, so whoever replies knows what you asked.

When you buy a kayak, Stripe handles the payment on its own secure page; your card details never reach us. We keep your name, email, phone and delivery address to deliver the boat, and share them with the freight company that brings it to you.

The text guide runs on Google's Gemini models and the voice guide on ElevenLabs. What you type or say is sent to them to produce an answer. The voice guide asks for your microphone only when you start it.

We use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to see which Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. They tell Meta when you view a page or a kayak, send us your email, start a checkout or buy. Any email, phone or address sent with those events is hashed (scrambled) first. Meta uses cookies for this.

We also remember, in your own browser, which ad, post or email brought you here, and record it with your enquiry or order.

To opt out, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (Firefox, Brave and DuckDuckGo support it, and there are extensions for others): the site then loads no Meta pixel and sends Meta nothing about you. You can also change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Enquiries and orders are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and for our records. Ask us at the address above and we'll delete what we hold about you, apart from what the law requires us to keep for an order.
